So I've reached the end of this BzzAgent Bzzcampaign for Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Stips. Well, the end of my samples anyway - I'm definitely not through talking about how cool these strips are!
I'm faily confident that the results speak for themselves.
Here is the photo of my teeth before I began trying the Listerine Whitening Stips.
And here I am today.
I admit, that the lighting isn't identical but I can see a big difference in real life - and that is what counts!
You can explore ALL of the photos I've taken while using the Listerine Whitening Strips here or on my Flickr page.
So, having used them for nearly three weeks, I have a few pros and cons to share:
Pros:
- Quick Dissolving rocks! No messy clean up, and your mouth has a nice fresh feeling.
- Nice thin packs you can take anywhere.
- Easy to put on - you don't even need a mirror once you get the hang of it!
- No discomfort to my gums or stomach.
- No teeth sensitvity issues for me.
- Invisible - no one can tell you are wearing them!
- Doesn't restrain your ability to speak clearly (I've heard some strips do)
- I smile more now, because I am more confident about my newly white teeth.
- They work!
Cons:
- Opening the pack with the notched "tear here" guide doesn't always work well, and can be frustrating.
- A slight medicine-ey flavor, but it is Listerine after all, so it is to be expected.
- Sometimes parts of the strips don't dissolve as fast as others, leaving behind some bits here and there (swish some water though, and it's gone).
- Slightly pricey - around $30 for 56 strips (but you can find them for less on Amazon.com)
- Twice a day application can be a bit much, and I'd forget to do it.
As mentioned above, there were times where I'd forget to do one of the two daily applications. And a few days, I forgot totally (but it was Christmas and Christmas Eve, I had a lot going on). That said. I still had great results.
So, at the end of this whole process, I can say I am quite happy with Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to avoid the "tray" method and wants to get whiter teeth in a relatively short amount of time. True, I did get to try these for free from BzzAgent, but I wasn't paid in any manner. Also my opinion is 100% honest, and if I thought these were truly awful, I'd have said so.
Would it be worth the investment? I say yes, and for that matter, I plan to do another round of these strips in January or February, just to maintain the progress. I drink a LOT of coffee and tea, so I know this will take a bit of effort on my part to keep my newly found whiteness.
By the way, you can get a free sample on this Wal-Mart web page and also, it has a $3 off coupon.
Full disclosure: I am a BuzzAgent, where I have the chance to experience a product or service (usually before it is on the market). I am expected to be genuine and honest when creating Bzz, and am not asked to skew my opinion one way or the other. You can be a BzzAgent too, just sign up here
