Lifehacker had a post about the Snap Links extension, but I found the comments to be more helpful.
With Snap Links, you click and hold the right mouse button and drag a box around the links (which get highlighted with red boxes for easy visibility). When you release the button, presto: All the selected links open in new tabs. Of course, this works with any links, not just search results.
Mouse gestures has this built in already. Draw a line through whatever links you want, then the gesture and it opens them all in tabs. (The default gesture is three-sides of a square Right-up-left)
Linky can:
* open all links on a page via right-click menu
* filter out links that have already been visited
* allow you to open links in tabs or windows
