Much like the Comment Editing function in MovableType 3.2, I'd love to have the ability to Change the "viewable by" in the Organize posts section.
You see, when Vox was NotComet, I just posted willy nilly about everything. I knew a small group of users would read it and I didn't mind. Well woah nellie! Now this thing is open to "the world" and I need to change a\the "viewable by" on a few posts.
Nothing bad, mind you, just some things I don't want "the world" to know. Friends, probably. Family, sure.
Well, I can change this, but it would be nice if there was a check box that I could select for each post I want to change, and change it (can I say "change" more?)
So that's what I'd like to see.
Though I admit, by the time it shows up, I will probably have changed the posts by then.

Is what you're asking for basically a "batch" change function? Flickr does that, so I can change a whole set or tagged asset's privacy setting at once.

I don't use Flikr, but I think so. Right now, I have to edit each post to change who views it.
But what if someone decided they wanted ALL of their posts to be for Friends or Family, and not for the world anymore.
That could be a real drag having to change each post.
But if you could tick a box somehow and either make certain posts, or even all of them viewable by a given "role" - that would be nice.
Does this make sense?

Makes sense to me and I agree it's a good idea. I use that feature on Flickr a lot.

I love that feature idea.
